Enrolment Criteria
You can apply directly to us without passing through an agent and thereby saving on
commissions.
Our Application Procedure:
a. Fill in the application form BELOW of Symbiosis in LEGIBLE BLOCK letters providing full and
complete details and submit it with the sum of USD 125 as application fee
(non-refundable).
b. Documents required to be submitted with the application are:
1. A scan of the passport first page, your passport should be valid for a
minimum ONE year from your arrival in Mauritius.
2. Your academic transcripts/results of qualifications obtained at high school
(equivalent to “O” and “A” levels). These should be certified as TRUE copies by a notary
in your country. Proficiency in written and spoken English is an absolute
MUST.
c. A Zoom /Whatsapp video meeting will follow and if we are satisfied with the outcome, you
will receive a provisional/conditional offer. If you accept the offer, you will then need to
pay upfront 50% of the course fee.
d. Next, Download the Application to enter Mauritius from: https://passport.govmu.org
Documents to be submitted for Student Visa
i. Form “Application to Enter Mauritius” duly filled in, dated and signed by the applicant;
ii. Two recent passport size photographs of the applicant;
iii. Photocopy of the bio-data pages of the passport of the applicant beyond period of stay;
iv. Documentary evidence of availability of funds or financial capacity to meet costs of study
and
stay in Mauritius(A recent bank statement for a period of last 6 months, letter of sponsorship
from
parents or guardian, copy of ID or passport of parents or guardian);
v. A medical certificate certifying that the applicant is not suffering from any contagious or
infectious disease. A test for HIV, Hepatitis B, a Chest X-ray carried out in his/her country of
origin. Another medical certificate within one month as from date of arrival in Mauritius.
e. We will initiate action to get you the student visa once we receive all the required
documents
by registered post to us. When your student visa arrives, you will be sent a scan copy of the
visa,
the original will be handed over to you in Mauritius. Before you make your travel arrangements
to
Mauritius you will be required to settle the balance of the course fees.
f. Upon your arrival in Mauritius, you will be picked up from the airport and dropped off safely
at
your accommodation. You will pay USD 150 for the pick-up and for the subsequent medicals
submission
to the PIO and further administrative work for obtaining your residence permit. The said sum has
to
be paid into the company bank account before leaving your country.
g. We will arrange for your accommodation for 3-6 months, you will be informed about the cost in
advance before travelling into Mauritius.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
The Passport and immigration Office allows 20 hours
of
work per week.
The Mauritius Qualfications Authority prescribes 25 hours of face to face training per week.
