Symbiosis is a relationship between two people or groups that work with and depend on each other.
Our Story
We are a private limited company providing tertiary education in Mauritius to local and
international students.
Incorporated in January 2004, Symbiosis is registered by the Mauritius Qualifications
Authority. 
From inception, we have been running professional award courses of various UK bodies including
the London Chamber of Commerce & Industry (LCCI), Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) and
currently, diploma courses of the Association of Business Executives/Institute of Leadership,
from levels 3 to 6 in the fields of Business Management/ HR/Marketing/Leadership.
Beside our focus and specialization being generally in the field of “Management” and related
subject areas, our product portfolio has also included Journalism and Media Studies, Public
Relations, Advertising, among others.
We prepare students to graduate with diplomas and advanced diplomas, thereby providing a
stepping stone to proceed to the final year of a Bachelor/ Master degree.
Symbiosis also dispenses its own internally designed short courses such as the popular ISO 9001
Quality Management System approved by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority. We often customize
courses to clients’ specific requirements and hold them at their premises. These courses not
only provide participants with hands-on training but the sponsoring organization benefits from
Human Resource Development Council (HRDC) refunds of 60-75% subject to fulfilling all their
criteria.
